How might we provide a plant care + delivery service that seamlessly integrates physical facilities and mobile platforms to enhance the plant-parent experience in any situation?

  • Problem Statement

Plant parents living in this era struggle to keep their so-called ‘plant children’ alive. They need support and guidance in not only sustaining their beloved plants, but also to keep the ongoing companionship in a stress-free and comfortable manner.

  • Concept Refinement

Our team agrees there is a noticeable gap in the modern world post-delivery experience. The delivery processes have been successfully designed by the industry, but we believe the challenges derive from the care aspect.

  • Design Hypothesis

Plant parents, from beginners to lovers and gurus, would benefit from a service design that attunes to their concerns, hopes, and inclusiveness when it comes to plants.

A service that continues post-delivery; offering a plant clinic, community, workshop, and even a hotel would improve their lives.

Takeaways & Reflections :

A working business model for Stay Leafy might apply more efficiently to one system at a time rather than 4-in-1 (all- inclusive) service.

Having less than three months to design from ground base was a bit challenging. However, the more fast-paced we went about with Stay Leafy, it left us more room to explore and examine as we took multiple steps back to reassess.
